Whilst studying at the Dutch Film & Television Academy producer Petra Goedings established, together with her business partner and film-editor JP Luijsterburg, Phanta Vision, an Amsterdam based film production and facilities company with the following subsidiaries: Phanta Vision Hardware, selling professional video and audio equipment; Phanta Vision Rentals, renting professional video and sound equipment; Phanta Vision Editing, on- and off-line editing facilities; and Phanta Vision Film International. The holding offers a solid base allowing ideal production conditions
Petra Goedings has produced and co-produced numerous features, documentaries, shorts and television programmes. Amongst these are LETTER TO AMERICA, a film by Iglika Triffonova and a Bulgarian/ Hungarian/ Dutch co-production, which was distributed succesfully in the Netherlands and won a.o. the FIPRESCI and Don Quijote award of the IFFC in Molodist FF Kiev 2001; MORLANG, a drama by Tjebbo Penning (Best Feature film & Best actor (Paul Freeman) Cairo International Film Festival 2001) which was released by the Film Movement in the USA in 2002 and GALE FORCE 10 by Hans Herbots (a Belgian/ Dutch/ UK co-production and Belgian boxofficehit in 2006). In 2007 two new films were released; costume drama BLIND by Tamar van den Dop (NL/BE/BG), and INVESTIGATION the second film by Iglika Triffonova, (BG/NL/DE).
JP Luijsterburg has edited numerous features such as WILD MUSSELS
by Erik de Bruyn, WAISTED by Aryan Kaganof, KICKS by Albert ter Heerdt,
and NACHTRIT and DUNYA & DESI by Dana Nechustan. He also edited
numerous documentaries for amongst others VPRO Television for DNW
and VPRO Backlight.
